Maria is an American Artist of Greek Heritage. As seen in many of her paintings, Maria is inspired by the colors of the Aegean Sea. Maria likes to take photos of landscapes for inspiration and then takes those images and develops her own landscape paintings through her own mind's eye.  From an early age, Maria was naturally gifted as an artist. Some of her earliest memories of success were in macrame. Later Maria visited a local florist and was hired to do floral arranging after seeing Maria's talent in macrame.

With this intrinsic artist's soul Maria soon discovered the ability to frame and capture life's moments via a camera. Her first professional camera was a Pendex with various lenses. Her teachers guided Maria to take photos as well as videos which landed Maria her first opportunity to shoot a commercial on Autism. This was of personal interest to Maria since she was diagnosed as an adult with Autism.
